Maaji was founded in 2002 by sisters Amalia and Manuela Sierra. They were strongly influenced by their family's entrepreneurship and commitment to contribute to the social development of the country, so they started pursuing their dream of creating a brand that would enchant with its unique inventiveness. Maaji brings the evolution of a trend with both a strong retro emphasis and an eclectic romanticism to enchant women who want to feel pretty and comfortable with a laidback trendy style and a fresh attitude. The collections inspire magically surreal stories that are a result of a long investigation and creative process, leading to truly unique products of excellent quality, design and high technology. All products are 100% designed and made in Colombia using locally manufactured fabrics. Maaji introduced a studio activewear collection in 2015, adding to the already well established swimwear, lingerie, mens trunks and kids collections.
